Greg Dolor overcomes cramps just to lift Navy

Greg Dolor will always leave it all on the floor for his PGJC-Navy.

That's how much the Sealions captain loves his team - his family since the 2018 Spikers' Turf Open Conference.

Dolor has been doing everything in his power to follow up their 2022 Open Conference bronze finish with another podium finish this year.

And it showed in Navy's 25-18, 24-26, 25-22, 25-21 win over Philippine Air Force last Sunday at Paco Arena to snap its two-game skid and return to the win column at 2-3.

Dolor, who was the 2016 Open Conference MVP, led the way for the Sealions via a 25-point performance on 22 attacks, two blocks, and one ace. He did that with one good leg in the fourth frame.

During the break between the third and fourth sets, Dolor's hamstring tightened up but he played through it, even dropping six clutch points to secure the win.

Even though Dolor is not yet pushing the panic button despite a shaky start that saw them win just two of their first five games, he knows that this triumph over their AFP Olympics rivals might just be the boost Navy needed.

Unlike last conference where there were only seven teams, the race to the Top Four this time got even harder with 11 teams in the field.

But with five games left in their preliminary round schedule, the sixth spot Sealions still have a lot of chances left to enter the semifinals.
