Unbeaten Cotabato seeks lead share vs winless Sta Rosa

The AMC-Cotabato Spikers are set to compete against the Santa Rosa City Lions in a bid to secure their third consecutive victory in the Spikers' Turf Open Conference. This match is scheduled to take place on Wednesday at the Paco Arena in Manila.

The Cotabato Spikers boast a strong lineup, with nine of their fourteen players included in the national team pool for the upcoming 32nd Southeast Asian Games.

With the likes of Jau Umandal, Edward Camposano, Rex Intal, Jayvee Sumagaysay, and Lloyd Josafat all expected to perform, the Spikers are favored to defeat the City Lions in their early morning encounter.

In contrast, the young City Lions have had a difficult start to the league, losing both of their first two matches to the Imus AJAA Spikers and the Cignal HD Spikers.

However, with players like Kevin Montemayor, Anrie Bakil, and Yoyong Mendoza vowing to deliver, Santa Rosa is determined to end their losing streak and bounce back in this match.

In another match of the day, the Vanguard Volley Hitters will be facing off against the Army Troopers with both teams hoping to reclaim their footing after losses in their previous games.

Vince Abrot, who single-handedly carried the Volley Hitters with 18 points in their last match, will need solid support from his team to bounce back. The Troopers, on the other hand, will once again rely on experienced players like Benjaylo Labide, PJ Rojas, Mark Ensiso, and Kevin Liberato.

These exciting matches will be broadcast live on One Sports, One Sports+, Cignal Play, and SMART Live Stream, so fans will not miss a single moment of the action.
