The Spikers’ Turf All-Star Game is set to feature a deep and balanced roster after the league officially named the reserves on Monday night, finalizing the lineups for the game on May 1 in Candon City, Ilocos Sur.
The reserves were chosen through a voting process involving coaches, players, team officials, referees, technical committees, and members of the broadcast and media group.
For Team Power, AEP-Cabstars’ EJ Casaña and Vince Lorenzo headline the reserve unit, backed by Alpha Insurance’s Edward Camposano, Billie Anima, and JM Ronquillo.
Criss Cross’ Jaron Requinton and VNS Always Bright Laticrete’s Jayvee Sumagaysay complete the supporting cast.
They will back a strong starting core led by Criss Cross standouts Jude Garcia, Adrian Villados, Noel Kampton, Lloyd Josafat, and Menard Guerrero, along with Savouge’s Louie Ramirez and JP Bugaoan.
Savouge head coach Sydney Calderon will steer Team Power.
On the other side, Team Passion will be anchored by reserves Shawie Caritativo and Cian Silang.
They will be joined by Criss Cross’ Nico Almendras, John Philip Pepito, and Gian Glorioso, alongside AEP-Cabstars’ Mfena Gwaza and Jay Rack De La Noche.
They will support a starting group built around Criss Cross mainstays under head coach Tai Bundit.
