Garcia vs Calado sets up Spikers' Turf All-Star clash

The stage is set for a blockbuster Spikers’ Turf All-Star Game after the starters for the 2026 showcase were officially revealed Monday, fueling excitement ahead of the May 1 spectacle in Candon City.

Fan voting from March 12 to April 11 determined the starting lineups, highlighting the league’s top standouts led by Criss Cross’ Jude Garcia and Savouge’s Mark Calado.

Garcia anchors Team Power, joined by a loaded Criss Cross core featuring setter Adrian Villados, outside hitter Noel Kampton, middle blocker Lloyd Josafat, and libero Menard Guerrero.

The King Crunchers’ influence continues with Spin Doctors’ JP Bugaoan and Louie Ramirez completing Team Power’s frontline.

Calado, meanwhile, leads Team Passion, where he is reunited with Savouge teammates setter Vince Imperial, middle blocker Giles Torres, and libero Rikko Marmeto.

Criss Cross’ Alche Gupiteo and Alpha Insurance’s Jau Umandal take charge of the outside hitter positions, while another King Cruncher in Poy Colinares completes the middle blocker rotation.

The reserves will be announced on April 20 after a multi-sector voting process involving coaches, players, team officials, league committees, referees, broadcast staff, and the PVL Press Corps.
