Criss Cross officially declared its entry into the Spikers' Turf on Friday night at the Joy Nostalg Center in Pasig City, setting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling new chapter in Rebisco volleyball.
At the helm of the King Crunchers stands Marck Espejo, who will join that team after his stint with the Korean Air Jumbos in South Korea.
Joining forces with Espejo are his former teammates, namely Ish Polvorosa, Kim Malabunga, and the squad's captain, Ysay Marasigan.
Chu Njigha, Manuel Sumanguid, Geuel Asia, and Jude Garcia will backstop the King Crunchers.
Adding more firepower to the lineup are Rex Intal, Juvie Mangaring, Vince Mangulabnan, and Gian Glorioso, each bringing their unique set of skills to bolster Criss Cross's bid for supremacy in the Spikers' Turf.
Criss Cross doesn't just stop at indoor volleyball prowess; they've also enlisted the services of beach volleyball stars Krung Arbasto, Philip Bagalay, and Jaron Requinton.
Guiding Criss Cross is none other than decorated head coach Tai Bundit.
With a track record of success and a keen eye for developing talent, Bundit's presence on the sidelines adds an extra layer of excitement to Criss Cross's campaign.
Team manager Alan Acero, exuding confidence, declared, "We're here now, and we believe that this is the best time for men's volleyball. It's your time. We invite all of you to support us as we embark on this exciting new chapter for Rebisco volleyball."
As Criss Cross steps onto the Spikers' Turf, the anticipation is palpable, and expectations are sky-high.
